A 29-year-old woman is in jail on charges she stabbed her boyfriend with a hunting knife.
According to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office, Jamie M. Hosein sliced her boyfriend's arm with the knife a little after 6 a.m. Thursday at her house on 8626 Leo Kidd Ave.
The man was taken to the hospital for treatment. An update on his condition was not available Friday.
According to Hosein's arrest report, the man "lost a substantial amount of blood." Hosein is charged with aggravated battery and is being held without bail in the Land O'Lakes jail.

Man says he stole coins for drug money
Adam L. Carroll, a man with no money and a drug addiction to feed, pedaled around town on his bicycle with a pry bar, breaking into vending machines to get the coins, according to a report from the New Port Richey Police Department.
Carroll – a 29-year-old unemployed roofer from 6042 Countrymen Lane – hit machines at two laundromats, a Ramada Inn and a Valu-Lodge over the past month, the report states.
He caused hundreds of dollars of damage, but only got about $100 in change, the report says.
He was arrested Thursday and faces charges of three counts of burglary, one count of criminal mischief, one count of maliciously molesting a coin-operated machine and seven counts of molesting a coin-operated machine with larceny.
Carroll remained Friday at the county jail in lieu of $26,350 bail. According to his arrest report, Carroll admitted to the crimes and said he did it because he needed drug money.
