ZEPHYRHILLS – Authorities say Tiffany Faire Barton beat a woman and then ran into her with a car Tuesday afternoon.

According to the Pasco Sheriff's Office, Barton, 27, punched the woman in the head, back and arms on State Road 54 in Zephyrhills. When Barton tried to leave the scene, the victim stood in front of her car to stop her – and that's when Barton drove into her, a report states. The woman suffered injuries to her torso, according to the report.

The woman's updated medical condition was unknown Saturday.

Barton, of 4623 Charter St. in Zephyrhills, was arrested Friday. She is charged with aggravated battery and simple battery. Barton was released from the Land O'Lakes jail Saturday on $10,150 bail.
