LARGO — A three-month investigation into street drug sales resulted in the arrest of 30 of 47 targeted suspects around Largo on Thursday night, according to the Pinellas County Sheriff's Office.

"Operation Mid-County Clean Up" is the latest in a series of street-level drug dealer investigations, according to the Sheriff's Office.

Detectives working undercover made a series of drug transactions with neighborhood dealers in and around Churchill Mobile Home Park on New Jersey Street.

Suspects arrested Thursday were being taken to a command post set up in the parking lot of a former shopping center at 104 Ponce DeLeon in Largo and then to the Pinellas County Jail.

Suspects not arrested Thursday will be pursued by patrol deputies during regular shifts, authorities said.
