Authorities: Two responsible for Family Dollar, Papa John's Pizza robberies (w/video)

TAMPA — Two commercial armed robberies committed Sunday night have authorities looking for two people who police said were responsible for both.

Tampa Police said the first robbery happened just before 10 p.m at the Family Dollar at 10220 30th St. N., where two people, armed with guns, demanded money from the cashier and fled.

About an hour later, a person dressed identically to one of the Family Dollar robbers walked into Papa John's Pizza at 9340 Florida Ave. N. with a gun and fired a shot into the ceiling and demanded money.

The person fled the scene, police said.
