Body found in abandoned car is homicide victim

HOLIDAY — An 18-year-old man found in an abandoned car Friday was the victim of a homicide, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

Cedric D. Saunders of Holiday was found just before 10 a.m. in a vehicle in Holiday Lake Estates near the intersection of Merrilon Drive and Wellington Drive.

Deputies initially classified the death as suspicious. The cause of death was not being released. No other information was immediately available.

Deputies ask anyone with additional information to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office at (727) 844-7711.
