Brooksville man accused of sexually assaulting 7-year-old boy

A 25-year-old Brooksville man was arrested Thursday and charged with sexually assaulting a 7-year-old boy, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.

The boy told a child protective team and investigators that Tomas Ramon Montesino had assaulted him, the arrest report states.

It occurred sometime between Aug. 11 and 28 when the victim was playing a video game in his room. Montesino, a construction worker, knew the boy, authorities said.
