Brooksville man accused of sexually battering two teen boys

BROOKSVILLE — Police have arrested a Brooksville man on five counts of sexual battery involving two teenage boys.

Guy Osman Gould, 65, of 7014 Daffodil Drive, is accused of engaging in sexual activities with a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, Brooksville police said. He remained in the county jail Wednesday in lieu of $40,000 bail.

The two boys were not identified in the report.

According to a press release, the 15-year-old recently told his mother that he had sexual contact with Gould. The teen's mother then went to the police, and an investigation was launched.

A search of Gould's home turned up evidence of the alleged crime, and Gould was arrested Monday. During the interview with police, Gould confessed to having sex with the 15-year-old and the 14-year-old boy, the police release states.

The 14-year-old later told police he had sexual contact with Gould on four occasions.

The five incidents allegedly took place over August through January.

According to state records, Gould's only previous arrest came in Hernando in December 2008 on charges of driving under the influence and damaging property —both misdemeanors.
