BROOKSVILLE — Police have identified the woman who was killed in a hit-and-run Saturday morning and say they are searching for a pickup truck.
Trina Marie Harvey, 27, was hit at the intersection of Cortez Boulevard and Horse Lake Road at 5:11 a.m. She was discovered lying in the median of Cortez and pronounced dead at the scene.
Based on evidence from the crash, police believe Harvey was hit by a Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck from the 2007 to 2012 model year. The front left of the truck, as well as the hood and windshield, may have been damaged.
