BROOKSVILLE — A Brooksville woman has been accused of stealing a pair of credit cards and running up more than $26,000 in fraudulent charges.

Christina Anne Hill, 35, of 24250 Duffield Road was arrested Thursday and charged with organized fraud. She was released on $800 bail from the Hernando County Detention Center.

In November, Thomas Lovelock Sr. reported to authorities that the credit cards had been stolen, possibly by his son, Thomas Lovelock Jr., and his son's girlfriend, Hill, so the two could support their drug habits.

Hernando County sheriff's investigators discovered that someone had fraudulently used the credit cards 95 times since they had disappeared. Detectives say they later discovered video that showed Hill was the perpetrator.

During an interview, investigators say, Hill admitted to using the credit cards, but said she had been given permission by Thomas Lovelock Sr.
