CLEARWATER — A 57-year-old Clearwater man was arrested Friday and accused of sexually abusing a girl for years.

Pinellas County sheriff's detectives say Donnie Ray Floyd sexually abused the girl when she was between 5 and 16. Detectives said Floyd captured some of the incidents on video. The acts happened as recently as January, arrest reports state.

Investigators searched Floyd's residence in the 2300 block of Congress Avenue and found a portable hard drive containing photos and videos containing child pornography, the Sheriff's Office said. He was arrested and charged with one count of capital sexual battery and five counts each of sexual battery, sexual performance by a child and possession of child pornography.

Floyd was being held without bail Saturday at the Pinellas County Jail.
