CLEARWATER — Deputies arrested a Clearwater man Friday on charges that he molested a young girl on multiple occasions between September and November last year.
Omartin Martinez, 26, was booked in the Pinellas County Jail on a charge of sexual battery on a child less than 12 years old.
During questioning, Martinez admitted having sexual contact with the girl, whom he knew, at least five times during the months in question, deputies said. An arrest report indicates that deputies suspect Martinez might have molested other children.
He was held in jail Saturday without bail.
