Clearwater police arrest 11 women, one man in prostitution sting

CLEARWATER — A prostitution sting conducted Wednesday resulted in the arrests of 11 women and one man, according to police spokeswoman Elizabeth Watts.

Undercover Clearwater police officers targeted a region of East Gateway bordered by Drew Street to the north, Court Street to the south, Missouri Avenue to the west and Highland Avenue to the east.

Police made arrests on the following charges:

Felony solicitation of prostitution: Connie Pusey, 40, of Clearwater; and Linda Bosack, 57, a transient (also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia).

Misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution: Tammy Poreotis, 46, a transient; Cynthia Demember, 43, of Clearwater; Barbara Connors, 50, a transient; Britney Lightfoot, 30, of Pinellas Park; and Stephanie Murphy, 35, of Georgia.

Misdemeanor solicitation of prostitution and possession of drug paraphernalia: Teresa Budd, 46, of Tarpon Springs.

Exposure of sexual organs: Alicia Brock, 41, of Clearwater; and Danielle Leewood, 30, residence unknown.

Dealing in stolen property: Danny Davis, 35, a transient; Paula Price, 41, of Clearwater.
