CLEARWATER — A bicyclist died after being hit by a car Thursday night on Drew Street near the intersection of Evergreen Avenue, police said.
The bicyclist, an adult man, died at the scene of the crash, which happened just after 6:30 p.m., authorities said. Police did not immediately release the man's identity, pending notification of his next-of-kin.
Drew Street was closed in both directions as traffic detectives investigated the crash.
