TAMPA — A single-car accident closed the right lane of Interstate 275 southbound on the Howard Frankland Bridge about 9 p.m. Thursday, the Florida Highway Patrol said.
The driver hit the right-side barrier, causing minor injuries to a passenger, said FHP spokesman Sgt. Larry Kraus.
The stalled vehicle is blocking the right lane and authorities are waiting for a tow truck to haul it out of the way, Kraus said.
Otherwise, traffic is moving smoothly across the bridge.
