Crime Stoppers offering reward for information about Plant City homicide

PLANT CITY — Crime Stoppers Tampa Bay is offering a reward for information leading to an arrest in the murder of a 36-year-old man who was found dead in his home Sunday.

Reginald H. Brown was found in his home at 1319 E. Ohio St. shortly after 5 p.m., according to Plant City police. Friends and family who had not heard from Brown went to check on him and found his body, said Plant City police Sgt. Alfred Van Duyne.

Brown had been fatally shot in the upper body, police said. Detectives spent Monday trying to identify a suspect or suspects in the murder and a motive.
