TAMPA — Dorice Donegan "DeeDee" Moore stood before a judge Saturday morning for her first court appearance on a charge of first-degree murder in connection with the death of Lotto winner Abraham Shakespeare.
She was silent as the judge ordered her to remain in jail without bail.
A probable cause document used to support the murder charge states that Moore provided several accounts of how Shakespeare was killed, but in all of them, she admitted to being present.
Moore was already being held on a million-dollar bond for a charge of accessory after the fact to a first-degree murder in connection with Shakespeare's death.
The first-degree murder charge was added Friday night.
