CLEARWATER — A two-month investigation led to drug charges Monday for a man deputies said ran a marijuana grow house out of his home.
Detectives said the investigation into Grey L. Lopez's home began in March, after they got a tip that he was growing marijuana at his home at 1412 S Keene Rd. in unincorporated Clearwater.
They met with Lopez, 41, Tuesday night, and he gave them permission to search his home, where deputies said they found 133 marijuana plants.
Lopez was arrested and charged with manufacturing marijuana and trafficking in marijuana. He was taken to the Pinellas County Jail, where he was held on $55,000 bail.
