Deputies investigate suspicious death of Oldsmar woman

The death of a woman discovered in her Oldsmar home late Monday is considered suspicious, Pinellas County sheriff's deputies said.

Deputies found the woman in her home on Stoneview Circle, in the East Lake Woodlands subdivision, after a caller requested a welfare check, deputies said.

Her death did not appear to be a random act of violence and is under investigation, deputies said. A spokeswoman said no further information about the woman would be immediately released.
