Pasco sheriff: Men in clown, wolf masks robbed Wesley Chapel 7-Eleven at gunpoint

WESLEY CHAPEL — Pasco sheriff's deputies are searching for two armed men — one wearing a clown mask, the other a wolf mask — who robbed a 7-Eleven at gunpoint early Thursday morning.

The incident took place about 1:32 a.m., deputies said, when the two men walked into the store at 27219 Wesley Chapel Blvd.

The man in the clown mask pointed a Glock-style semiautomatic pistol at the clerk and demanded money, deputies said.

The clerk emptied the cash register as instructed and the men drove away northbound in a newer model white car, possibly a Toyota Camry.

Anyone with information about this incident is asked to call the Pasco County Sheriff's Office crime tips line at 1-800-706-2488.
