MOON LAKE — Cecil Lambert pressed his gun to a woman's head Saturday afternoon and pulled the trigger, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

The gun did not fire. The woman lived.

Lambert, 57, is accused of firing multiple shots at the feet of a 35-year-old man at 10612 Evergreen St. in the Moon Lake Estates area of New Port Richey. He then held the gun to the temple of a 44-year-old woman who lives at the home, deputies say. Lambert's listed address is the same residence, though it appears he does not currently live there. He told investigators he came to the house Saturday to gather some of his belongings from a travel trailer and, upon seeing the trailer in disrepair, "lost it" and began shooting.

Lambert was arrested and charged with two counts of attempted murder and carrying a concealed firearm. He is being held at the Pasco County jail in lieu of $1 million bail.
