TAMPA — Authorities released surveillance video Tuesday of a man who robbed a credit union last week in Tampa.
The man walked into the MidFlorida Credit Union about 2:14 p.m. Friday at 3202 W Waters Ave., approached a teller and demanded cash, according to Hillsborough sheriff's deputies. He told a bank teller to empty a money till into a green lunch box.
The teller complied and the man fled, deputies said.
The man is described as between 25 and 35 years old, about 5 feet 6 and between 150 and 170 pounds. During the robbery, he wore an orange traffic vest over a dark sweatshirt, with blue jeans and black and white sneakers.
Anyone with information regarding the man's identity is asked to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
