Deputies say man was stabbed during Holiday home invasion

HOLIDAY — A 37-year-old man was hospitalized early Monday after two neighbors broke into his home and stabbed him, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

It happened at about 3:30 a.m. at 3817 Greenfield Drive, where a man and woman live together, said Sheriff's Office spokesman Kevin Doll.

Doll said the 18-year-old and 16-year-old who broke into the home know the residents. He said the crime seems to be related to a dispute over money.

The male resident was taken to a local hospital by a medical helicopter. His condition was unknown early Monday.

Both teenage suspects are in custody, Doll said.
