Deputies search for man who robbed Seffner store

Deputies in Hillsborough County are searching for a man who held up a Boost Mobile store on Monday.

The man entered the store at 14710 Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd in Seffner just after 1:30 p.m. and threatened to kill the clerk if she did not empty the cash register for him. Deputies said he never showed her a weapon.

The man fled the scene after the clerk handed him the cash. He is described as white with black hair, between 5-foot-10 and 6-foot-2 tall, weight between 260 and 320 pounds and was last seen wearing a black T-shirt and white long shorts and white tennis shoes.

Deputies are asking anyone with information to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200 or leave an anonymous tip with Crime Stoppers either by calling 1-800-873-8477 toll-free, visiting www.crimestopperstb.com or texting "CSTB" with your tip to 274637.
