Deputies search for men who robbed Gibsonton Dairy Queen at gunpoint

GIBSONTON — Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office deputies are asking for help identifying two men who robbed a Dairy Queen at gunpoint Monday morning.

The robbery happened at the Dairy Queen located at 10503 Gibsonton Drive.

Two men, one armed with a handgun, walked into the store about 8:50 a.m. and confronted a store employee, demanding the employee open the safe. After the employee was unable to open the safe, the men fled.

The men were caught on video surveillance entering a silver vehicle, possibly a Toyota Corolla, which was being driven by a third person.

Deputies ask anyone with information about the robbery to call the Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-8200.
