Deputies search for Riverview bank robber

RIVERVIEW — A man with a note robbed a Fifth Third Bank on Thursday morning and escaped with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The man walked into the bank at 10417 Gibsonton Drive at 8:20 a.m., passed a teller the note demanding money and left after he got some cash, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

Anyone with information about the crime can contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's office at (813) 247-8200 or, to give a tip anonymously, call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-873-8477.
