Deputies searching for teens who stole puppies in Tampa

TAMPA — Deputies were searching Friday for three teenagers who stole 6-week-old puppies from a house, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

The thieves snatched the two pit bull pups May 19 about 12:30 p.m. from 9409 Ripley Road. One puppy is gray with an "L" shaped scar on its right side. The other is black with white patches on its chest and paws.

The suspects were described between the ages of 14 and 16 and may go by the nicknames of "BJ," "CJ," and "Boze," deputies said.
