Deputies seek Carrollwood bank robber

CARROLLWOOD — Deputies are seeking a bank robber who made off with an undisclosed amount of money Monday morning.

The man walked into the Fifth Third Bank, at 13001 North Dale Mabry Highway, just after 8:30 a.m. and presented a bank teller with a note demanding cash, deputies said.

The teller handed over the money and the man fled.

The suspect is white, about 6-feet tall, 190 lbs, in his 30s and wore blue dress pants and a long-sleeved white shirt with blue pin stripes at the time of the robbery.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the incident is encouraged to call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813) 247-820.
