Deputies seek man who robbed Hillsborough gas station

DOVER — Deputies are searching for a man who reached across a gas station counter and snatched money out of the cash register, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's office describes the suspect as a white man in his 30s, 6-foot-2, 200-pound muscular build, bald or shaved head with a medium complexion.

He walked into the Hess Express, 12877 U.S. Highway 92 East, at 7:39 p.m. on Oct. 6 and asked for change, deputies said.

When the clerk opened the drawer, the man reached into the register and grabbed cash before running away.
