Deputies seek man who robbed Hillsborough gas station

DOVER — Deputies are searching for a man who reached across a gas station counter and snatched money out of the cash register, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's office describes the suspect as a white man in his 30s, 6-foot-2, 200-pound muscular build, bald or shaved head with a medium complexion.

He walked into the Hess Express, 12877 U.S. Highway 92 East, at 7:39 p.m. on Oct. 6 and asked for change, deputies said.

When the clerk opened the drawer, the man reached into the register and grabbed cash before running away.

Anyone with information about this robbery can contact the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at (813)247-8200 or Crime Stoppers of Tampa Bay at 1(800)873-8477.
