Deputies are searching for a man they say broke into a home with a gun, stole firearms and battered an elderly resident, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.
The home invasion and robbery occurred Wednesday just after 1 p.m. at a home on Magnolia Boulevard in Wesley Chapel, deputies said.
The elderly victim was battered but had non-life threatening injuries, deputies said.
The man is of medium height and build and was wearing shorts, a polo shirt, and carried a black backpack.
He is considered armed and dangerous, deputies said.
