Detectives searching for gunman accused of killing Tampa man outside food store

TAMPA — Authorities were searching Monday for a man accused of fatally shooting a 20-year-old man after an argument Sunday afternoon outside a convenience store, the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office said.

Detectives have obtained an arrest warrant for Rodney D. Speights, 22, who faces a first-degree murder charge.

Deputies said they responded to a shooting report about 3 p.m. Sunday and found Osh Totter Williams with several gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Snack Attack Food Store at N 50th Street near Sligh Avenue.

He died at the scene. The shooter ran, deputies said.

Williams, who lived at 3502 Lindel Ave. in Tampa, had argued with several men outside the store moments before the shooting, deputies said.
