Detectives seek help in solving Clearwater business burglary

CLEARWATER — The Pinellas County Sheriff's Office is asking the public for help in solving a burglary at Cox Air Conditioning and Heating, 2198 Calumet St., during the overnight hours between April 9 and 10.

Detectives said the suspect cut through a chain-link fence and broke into two company vehicles, then began filling a 30-gallon rubber garbage can with air-conditioning and heating parts. They describe the suspect as a middle-aged white or Hispanic man with a thin build, short dark hair, and wearing a dark blue T-shirt and khaki cargo shorts.
