TAMPA — Two doctors and the owner of a newly opened pain clinic were arrested Wednesday and charged with operating the business without a license.
Warren Gold, 52, of Lutz moved the pain clinic to 4600 N Habana Ave. from Polk County after having licensing problems there, Tampa police said.
Dr. Rajan Raj, 71, of Lakeland and Dr. John Quick, 73, of Bradenton had been working in the Habana Spine and Medical Clinic for two weeks, police said.
Operating the business violates a city ordinance against unlicensed pain clinics.
The business was shut down for the day and will remain closed until it is properly licensed, police said.
