Dover man, 44, arrested for child pornography

DOVER — Detectives charged a 44-year-old man with possession of child pornography Friday after a search of his home computer yielded 19 illegal images and videos, according to the Hillsborough County sheriff's Office.

Authorities showed up with a warrant at Mitchiel Hyden's home at 5003 Durant Road just after 8 a.m., the arrest report said.

During a search of Hyden's computer, detectives found the 19 videos and images featuring children ages 5 to 13 in sexual situations, the report said.

Hyden admitted the crime, according to the sheriff's office. He was arrested once before in Hillsborough County in 1996 and charged with writing a worthless check.

Hyden lists himself as a Lowe's employee in Hillsborough County jail records.

The retail worker was being held on $142,500 bail Friday night.
