Drugs and money seized in Spring Hill; 2 arrested

SPRING HILL — More than $30,000, along with almost 77 grams of marijuana and a gram of cocaine, was seized by the Hernando County Sheriff's Office vice and narcotics unit late last week.

David Tesa, 32, and Korina Wanamaker, 22, were arrested at 10165 Bannister St. in Spring Hill after vice and narcotics officers served a search warrant.

Testa faces charges of possession of cocaine, drug paraphernalia and marijuana with the intent to sell. Wanamaker was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of Oxycodone.

Wanamaker posted $2,500 bail on Monday evening and was released from the Hernando County Detention Center; Testa posted $20,500 bail Tuesday afternoon.

Vice and narcotics officers also seized a white, four-door Lexus at the house.
