Female nurse, 40, accused of child porn possession in Lithia

LITHIA — A 40-year-old nurse accused of possessing child pornography was arrested at her home Monday evening.

Stacie Dawn Hamann, 40, was charged with 10 counts of promoting the sexual performance of a child after agents from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement searched her FishHawk Ranch home at 6314 Bridgevista Drive and found several images of child pornography on her computer, officials said.

She was booked into the Hillsborough County Jail, where she remained Tuesday in lieu of $50,000 bond.

Hamann works at Digestive Disease Associates of Tampa Bay, according to jail records.

The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office and the Department of Homeland Security assisted in the investigation.
