NEW PORT RICHEY — Mitzy Louise Roberts didn't want her boyfriend's ex-wife in their house.
So on Monday evening, authorities said, she took a rifle out of her trunk and pointed it at the ex-wife, who was at the house at 6255 Kentfield Ave. to help her 22-year-old daughter move out.
"If you don't leave, I'm going to shoot you," said Roberts, 48, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office report. She then went inside the home and warned: "I'm grabbing bullets!"
Roberts told the victim she didn't have a problem shooting anyone, a report said.
"Mitzy did yell that she doesn't have a problem with shooting anyone, but that wasn't a threat," her boyfriend, Gregory Mumaw, 40, explained to a deputy. "It's because she hunts a lot."
The ex-wife was not injured.
As Roberts was being arrested, she told a deputy: "I understand the argument got out of hand."
She is charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Roberts was released Tuesday on $5,000 bail.
