Hernando authorities investigating home invasion, robbery in Spring Hill

SPRING HILL — Deputies are looking for two men who robbed a man at gunpoint in his home early Wednesday. The man told investigators he was sitting at his desk in his home in the 5300 block of Freeport Drive about 2:30 a.m. when two men armed with handguns appeared and demanded money, the Hernando Sheriff's Office said. When the man said he didn't have any money, the men pistol whipped him and forced him to another part of the house. During a scuffle, one of the suspects discharged a firearm once but no one was hit, deputies said. The suspects fled with some cash. The resident was not able to provide detectives with a full description of the men. Anyone with information is asked to call Detective Randy Williamson at (352) 797-3717. BALTIMORE — We know what the Rays look like this year: a team that had enough talent but too many flaws, in construction and performance, and in the next few days will be officially eliminated from a wild-card race it had a chance to win but let slip away.

Adeiny Hechavarria, high-fiving Lucas Duda, seems likely to be brought back.
