Sheriff seeks help in hunt for sex offender
Authorities are asking for the public's help to locate a sex offender.
Dewayne Royce McLendon Sr., 52, was last seen on or about Nov. 10 near 13119 Linden Drive in Spring Hill, according to the Hernando County Sheriff's Office.
McLendon and his roommate, Donna Altamuro, left the residence there, and authorities now suspect they are transients in the Brooksville area. McLendon has failed to comply with reporting requirements.
