Hillsborough deputies accuse postal worker of possessing child porn

TAMPA — A postal worker arrested Tuesday faces charges of possessing child pornography.

Lloyd Lee Edge, 59, of Tampa had his computer seized by the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office Internet Sexual Predator Unit on Jan. 13.

Detectives said they found images of children younger than 12 engaged in sex acts. Edge made some images available to others, the Sheriff's Office said.

He was arrested Tuesday on two counts of possession of photos depicting sex with a child and six counts of possession of child pornography.

Edge retired from the U.S. Air Force as a technical sergeant after 20 years of service, and has worked for the U.S. Postal Service since 1999, deputies said. Jail records say he is a clerk.

He was being held Tuesday night in the Hillsborough County Jail on $27,000 bail.
