DOVER — A Dover man faces criminal charges after calling 911 to ask for a female deputy to come to his house to sexually gratify him, Hillsborough deputies say.
Joshua Basso, 32, called 911 seven times between Wednesday and Friday.
He was arrested at his house Friday, and, according to deputies, admitted to making the calls. He was charged with seven counts of making a false 911 call.
Basso has been arrested several times in Hillsborough, including two times for misusing 911. In the 2009 case, he was referred to Gulf Coast Mental Health Center, and in the 2010 case, the charges were dropped.
