Hillsborough deputies have released surveillance photos and asked for the public's help in identifying a man linked to six armed robberies of convenience stores and restaurants since January.
Deputies said he robbed these businesses at gunpoint:
• Jan. 28: Broadway Chevron, 7401 E Broadway Ave. in Tampa, at 7:55 p.m.
• March 29: Seffner Food Store, 340 E Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd., at 8:57 p.m.
• April 5: Subway restaurant, 455 E Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. in Seffner, at 10:48 p.m.
• April 8: S&J Chevron, 930 W U.S. 92 in Seffner, at 11:10 p.m.
• May 14: Five Star Food Mart, 4870 Turkey Creek Road in Plant City, 10:30 p.m.
• June 3: BP convenience store, 10907 E U.S. 92 in Seffner, at 12:11 a.m.
The suspect was described as a dark-skinned black man, about 5 feet 8 and 200 to 225 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt and a mask and gloves.
