The Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office has issued new photos of suspects in three recent thefts — a bank robbery in New Tampa as well as jewelry store break-in and store shoplifting incident, both in Tampa.

The bank robbery occurred about 9 a.m. Aug. 5 at the MidFlorida Credit Union, 20401 Bruce B. Downs Blvd. The suspect is a white male, about 40, 5-foot-9, medium build, wearing baggy jogging style pants, a Nike jacket, a blue visor with white lettering on it and gray Nike sneakers.

He was last seen running behind the bank carrying a maroon draw string bag and may have been driving a silver Toyota Sedan with tinted windows.

The burglary occurred just after noon Monday at Safa Jewelry, 8492 W. Hillsborough Ave. in Tampa. The suspect smashed the front glass door with a tire iron then entered the business, cutting himself in the process.

He jumped the counter and opened several drawers, then he ripped two cash registers from the counter before leaving the scene.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5-foot-7 to 5-foot-10, 140 to 160 pounds, with a dark thick beard and mustache. He was last seen wearing a white fishing hat with rear neck cover and a light-colored shirt.

The shoplifting incident occurred about 5:20 p.m. Aug. 2 at Wal-Mart, 8220 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. The suspect grabbed a NetGear/Linksys computer router and fled on foot.

He is described as a white male, 28 to 32, 5-foot-10, 170 pounds, with a jawline beard and goatee. He was last seen wearing a pink polo-style shirt, black pants and sneakers.

Anyone with any information about the suspects may call the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office at 247-8200.
