Hillsborough man accused of video voyeurism, child porn

TAMPA — Deputies arrested a home theater installer Wednesday and charged him with video voyeurism and 10 counts of possession of child pornography.

In late April, investigators seized a VHS tape and computer from David J. Micciche, 46, who lives west of Carrollwood, according to an arrest report from the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office.

The tape, made in Micciche's home, showed a 12-year-old in various stages of undress, the report said. Micciche knew the child, said Debbie Carter, a sheriff's spokeswoman.

On the computer, detectives found 10 pictures and videos of children engaged in sexual behavior, the report said. After being read his rights, Micciche admitted to downloading the images, the report said.

Micciche was arrested at his home at 2:42 p.m. Wednesday and taken to the Orient Road Jail. He was released Wednesday night after posting $29,500 bail.
