TAMPA — Hillsborough deputies are asking for the public's help in identifying a man who robbed Extra Care Pharmacy Saturday.
The robbery happened at 2001 Fletcher Ave. E about 1:30 p.m.
Deputies said a man approached the pharmacy counter and showed the clerk a black, semi-automatic handgun. He loaded a round and demanded the pharmacist give him oxycodone, deputies said.
The pharmacist gave him the drug, and the suspect ran away. Before the robbery, he was seen walking north on 20th Street.
Deputies say the man is white, 25 to 27 years old, about 5'8" and between 180 and 190 pounds. He has light brown hair and a stubble beard.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball cap, dark sunglasses, a red T-shirt with a black picture on the front, jeans and black tennis shoes.
His left arm was wrapped in an elastic bandage, and he carried the gun on his right side, deputies said.
