Holiday man, 66, accused of molesting 7-year-old

Man, 66, accused of molesting girl, 7

A 66-year-old man was arrested Wednesday on charges he lured a 7-year-old girl into his bedroom to show her pornographic material and molest her, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. The incidents took place in August 2008, but were not reported until recently, authorities said.

The girl ran off the first time Pedro Carrasquillo Sr. brought her to his room, the report said, so he lured her back with the promise of cookies.

Blindfolded and expecting "a surprise," the girl followed him back into the bedroom, where he showed her pornographic videos on his computer, according to the report.

Then he molested her and ordered her not to tell anyone, the report said.

Carrasquillo, of 4131 Woodfield Ave. in Holiday, later confessed to molesting the 7-year-old as well as another girl in Pinellas County, the report said. He was charged with sexual battery on a victim under 12, and is being held without bail at Land O'Lakes jail.
