Homeless man accused of molesting 4-year-old in Pasco

ZEPHYRHILLS — A man accused of molesting a 4-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday afternoon.

Pasco County deputies say Bobby Eugene Smith, 46, molested the boy two weeks ago in Zephyrhills. The boy told family members about the abuse, and they alerted authorities the next day.

Smith was named as a suspect after the child's Nov. 15 interview with investigators. Smith, who is homeless, fled to Hillsborough County. A deputy later persuaded him to return for questioning, and he was arrested Tuesday.

Smith was being held Wednesday without bail in the Pasco County jail on two charges of sexual battery against a child. Due to the nature of the allegations, authorities have not identified the child or how he knew Smith.

Buckle up for Baby Driver, a movie so full throttle cool that you want to fist bump the screen. Style is the substance of Edgar Wright's inventive heist flick, a fresh, masterful synching of music and getaway mayhem, as if La La Land's traffic jam was moving, armed and dangerous.

Baby (Ansel Elgort) is a getaway driver for heist arranger Doc (Kevin Spacey). Plagued by tinnitus, Baby tunes out his distracting “hum in the drum” by listening to music while he drives.
