Hudson bank robbery suspect arrested in New Mexico by FBI

Bank robbery suspect found in New Mexico

A Hernando man wanted in an armed robbery at a bank in Hudson earlier this month was arrested in New Mexico.

Justin A. Wolaver of Spring Hill was arrested Tuesday by the FBI in Raton in northern New Mexico, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office.

It was not immediately clear why he was in New Mexico, or how he had gotten there, and the circumstances of his arrest were not released.

Deputies said Wolaver robbed a Bank of America branch at 12935 U.S. 19 just before 1 p.m. on May 2. He walked into the bank, flashed a semi-automatic handgun in his waistband and demanded cash before leaving with an undisclosed amount, authorities said.

Wolaver was identified after video and pictures from the robbery were released to news media.
