HUDSON – Sheriff's deputies say a 51-year-old man sexually assaulted a disabled woman in a Walmart parking lot.
Stephen Balogh Jr. took the woman to the Walmart at 12610 U.S. 19 about 4 p.m. Wednesday to go shopping, a Pasco County Sheriff's Office report states. Then he gave her Jim Beam bourbon "and insisted she drank it," the report said.
The 23-year-old woman, whose name was withheld, has a seizure disorder and the mental capacity of a 12-year-old, authorities said.
Behind the locked doors of his red Dodge pickup, Balogh kissed her, the report states, then he demanded oral sex. She told him no and tried to push him away, but the sexual battery continued, the report states.
The report says he told her not to tell anyone.
Sheriff's spokesman Doug Tobin said he could not disclose the relationship between Balogh and the woman, only that they knew each other.
In interviews with deputies, Balogh denied the incident, then said they had consensual sex.
Balogh, of 9537 Ed St. in Hudson, was arrested and taken to Land O'Lakes jail on a charge of sexual battery. He remained there Thursday in lieu of $75,000 bail.
