DADE CITY — A 39-year-old man is accused of molesting a 10-year-old girl.
Lazaro G. Ceballos was arrested Tuesday and is charged with lewd and lascivious molestation of a victim aged 12 or younger.
The incident happened Sept. 6 in Dade City, according to the Pasco County Sheriff's Office. Ceballos, who lived on Bull Road in Dade City, is a Mexican citizen who is in the United States illegally, authorities said. He was held at the Pasco County Jail in lieu of $150,000 bail.
The Sheriff's Office said U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement has been notified of Ceballos' arrest.
