Man accused of raping teenage girl

A 39-year-old man was arrested Wednesday after, deputies say, he raped a 14-year-old girl.

On Monday around 9:45 p.m., Anderson Blaine III took the girl for a ride to a local convenience store in his girlfriend's Ford SUV, a Pasco Sheriff's report states. He later parked in some woods near Gould Road and threatened the girl to get in the back of the truck, where he raped her, the report states.

The girl later told deputies what happened.

Blaine, of 38213 Mosstown Road, was arrested on charges of involuntary sexual battery and lewd and lascivious molestation. He remained in the Land O'Lakes jail Thursday in lieu of $70,000 bail.
